Policies and Procedures
Rides, ride packages and memberships can be purchased online here or in person at FortCycle. All rides and ride packages are non-transferable and expire 6 months after purchase. Unlimited ride memberships require an auto-pay contract, are non-transferable and require a 30-day in-person notification with FortCycle ownership to cancel.
The purchase of a ride, ride package or unlimited ride membership does not automatically initiate a reservation. All reservations must be made directly through the FortCycle Class Schedule. Reservations can only be made after a ride, ride package, or unlimited ride membership is purchased.
Rides and ride packages offer flexible class scheduling within 6 months of purchase and will not be refunded. Memberships allow for 30 day written in person with owner cancellation notice and are not to be refunded.
Waiver and Consent
A signed FortCycle, LLC Waiver and Consent acknowledgement is required before participation in a class.
Reservations, Cancellations, No-Shows
Bikes may be reserved 1 week in advance. Cancellations will be accepted without penalty if made at least 12 hours before the scheduled ride or class. If you do not cancel by the deadline or do not show up for class, the ride will be debited from your ride/ride package purchase. Unlimited ride members credit/debit card will be charged $15.
Early Arrival and Late Entry Policy
Riders are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class. Riders must be checked in 5 minutes prior to class or their bike may be offered to wait listed riders. There will be absolutely no entry to class once it is started. Riders not checked in 5 minutes prior to class will be considered no-show and the ride will be debited from your ride/ride package purchase. Unlimited ride members will have your credit/debit card charged $15.
Wait listed riders will be notified via text if a bike becomes available. Once notified the ride is considered purchased and the standard cancellation, no-show and late arrival policies will apply.
We work to ensure a clean and safe fitness environment for everyone! To keep everyone safe and keep our equipment from being damaged, riders are required to bring clean and dry indoor cycling shoes or sneakers to change into for use inside the studio and during class. Outdoor shoes, boots and other outdoor footwear are not permitted inside the studio and should be kept in the changing area. Cleated cycle shoes may be worn in the cycle studio only.
Cell phone usage is prohibited in the cycling studio during classes.
